Photographer passionate about creating beautiful images married with human connection.
Hi, I'm Liz

Spring is typically a busy time for photographers, full of weddings, and portrait sessions for graduating college students and high school seniors. In Tallahassee, Grad Photos at Florida State University are very popular and I was gearing up for my busiest grad season yet. Then a little thing called COVID-19 happened (ever heard of her?) and I had to totally shut down business for a month. While many grads were forced to cancel their photo sessions due to the craziness going on, I am so happy I was able to coordinate with some graduates to take their photos in May. In all reality, I think grad photos on campus are even more special this year.

I was touched when I received this email back from a client after delivering their final gallery:

“Oh my goodness, these are incredible! Thank you so much, getting these photos has truly made my day! I feel so lucky to have taken them on what I did not know was my last evening on campus. I cannot wait to share with friends and family!”

I have always believed my job was important, not in a self-important way, but in the way that I want to take my time with every client to get the bets photos possible, because photos taken at important life milestones will be looked at for years to come as a small time-capsule of quickly passing moments. I am overjoyed every time I hear from a client that they love their photos, and are happy they took the time to book a session.

With all of that being said, here’s a round up of some of my favorite grad photos from spring 2020, pre and post COVID. Here’s to preserving those special moments.
